Calling All Presenters!
AWSP is seeking presenters for the AWSP/WASA Summer Conference. This year's theme is "Teamwork: Supporting ALL Our Stars." Hurry—the deadline for proposals is quickly approaching! All proposals must be received by Friday, February 12.

 

 

AWSP Highlights


  • Shaw Named State's HS Principal of the Year
    Jennifer Shaw, principal of Frankline Pierce High, has been selected as Washington state’s 2010 High School Principal of the Year. Shaw describes her work in the principalship as an ongoing journey that moves students toward success.

  • And the 2010 Middle Level Principal of the Year Is...
    Karen Owen, principal of Nisqually Middle (North Thurston PS)! "All students can learn at high levels," says Karen. "It is our personal and moral obligation to ensure that this happens.”

  • AWSP/WASA Summer Conference Call for Presenters
    AWSP is seeking presenters for the 2010 AWSP/WASA Summer Conference, taking place at the Spokane Convention Center, June 27-29. This year's conference will focus on developing effective teams in schools and districts to help bridge the achievement gap and improve student learning. Deadline for proposals is Friday, February 12.

  • APs and Interns: One-Day Conference Option Now Available!
    If you're not yet registered for the Assistant Principals' Leadership Conference, there's still time! Assistant principal and intern members can now register online to attend the conference on Thursday or Friday only, at a reduced price.
