Association of Washington Middle Level Principals (AWMLP)
The AWMLP board is dedicated to the educational advancement of
middle level and junior high school students, as well
as principals. The purposes of AWMLP shall be:
- To assist principals in the ongoing pursuit of
quality educational programs for students in the middle level in the
state of Washington.
- To assist principals in fulfilling their
leadership responsibilities in middle level schools.
- To encourage harmonious professional relations
between administrators and teachers.
- To provide opportunities for principals to
exchange professional ideas and materials.
- To encourage professional activity and study
among principals in their local areas.
- To present the professional opinion of AWMLP
to the public as well as governmental and educational
organizations.
- To provide high quality student educational
programs with an emphasis on student leadership and environmental
education for all students.
