Chewelah Peak Learning Center's
New Dorm, "La Casa" (Dorm B)
About the Facility
The 2007 Legislature allocated $1 million
toward the $1.45 million needed for construction of
a second dorm at Chewelah Peak Learning Center. The new dorm
has added 88 beds and will allow Chewelah Peak to better meet
the capacity required for the majority of schools interested in
using the Learning Center.
Construction began in July of 2007 and was
completed in spring of 2008.
