Great principals use great strategies! This year’s conference theme is “GPS: Great Principal Strategies.” Sessions and activities will focus on strategies to help you navigate through the principalship and kick-start the 2010-11 school year.

GRADE-SPECIFIC PRE-CONFERENCES: TEACHER EVALUATION

This year’s conference program includes grade-specific training on teacher evaluations, designed especially for building administrators.
On Sunday, Oct. 3, three pre-conference sessions—one for elementary, one for middle level and one for high school—will cover evaluations, instructional conversations and legal issues. (See details below.) These pre-conference sessions are included in the cost of the conference and meet the Washington State legal requirement of ongoing teacher evaluation training for principals.
