Great principals use great strategies! This year’s conference
theme is “GPS: Great Principal Strategies.” Sessions
and activities will focus on strategies to help you navigate through the
principalship and kick-start the 2010-11 school year.
GRADE-SPECIFIC PRE-CONFERENCES: TEACHER
EVALUATION
This year’s conference program includes
grade-specific training on teacher evaluations, designed especially for
building administrators.
On Sunday, Oct. 3, three pre-conference sessions—one for
elementary, one for middle level and one for high school—will
cover evaluations, instructional conversations and legal issues. (See
details below.) These pre-conference sessions are included in the
cost of the conference and meet the Washington State legal
requirement of ongoing teacher evaluation training for
principals.
