About the Workshop

How will you maintain school culture with the impact of new discipline laws and expectations? K-12 principals are in the middle of balancing the needs of all kids while keeping everyone safe. Suspensions are counter-productive to learning for everyone involved, but what's the right answer?

You'll leave this workshop with the tools to help you:
  •  Create a new adult mindset about discipline in your school.
  •  Keep kids in class all day, every day.
  •  Increase student learning by fostering strong student-adult relationships.
  •  Lead the development of a new system of discipline for your school.

We will provide solutions and strategies that are culturally responsive and equitable, and leave you with ideas for creating K-12 support systems that work for all.

Audience

All members of K-12 school leadership teams (administrators, counselors and teacher leaders)
