About the Workshop

Participants will examine a Trauma-Informed Multi-Tiered System of Support used to structure school-wide behavioral interventions. This training will provide an introduction to Adverse Childhood Experience (ACEs), the neurology of behavior and a look into the influence of environmental factors which can lead to negative life outcomes. Participants will learn evidenced-based, trauma-informed interventions which address maladaptive behaviors and promote social and emotional learning. School teams will leave with immediately applicable strategies and a plan to create a school-wide, core culture of student expectations and behavior response using the Trauma-Informed Multi-Tiered System of Support.

Audience

Principals, assistant principals, school psychologists, counselors, ASB advisers, security, coaches and teacher leaders.
