WA Engage: Join the Fight Against Human Trafficking

Did you know that the I-5 corridor is one of the highest areas of sex trafficking on the west coast? Did you know that the average age for both girls and boys to be pulled into trafficking is 12-14? With those two scary bits of information, we want to make sure you have access to many resources available in our state to help keep all of our students safe. WA Engage is a non-profit organization in our state that is leading the charge on not only bringing awareness to the risk of sex trafficking to our youth, but also working diligently to build community coalitions to prevent human trafficking. If you’d like more information on materials available for your school and/or community, check out the WA Engage toolkit. Don’t hesitate to contact us or email WA Engage directly.
