About the Conference

The overall goal of this conference is to increase organizational leadership capacity by providing systemic strategies for equity and access so all students can achieve at a high level. Over 300 participants from districts, ESDs, and state agencies will focus on research-based high-leverage core practices necessary for organizational growth in leadership for equity.

Keynote speaker — Jeff Duncan-Andrade, Ph.D.

As a classroom teacher and school leader in East Oakland for the past 25 years, Dr. Duncan-Andrade's pedagogy has been widely studied and acclaimed for producing uncommon levels of social and academic success for students. He lectures around the world and has authored numerous journal articles and book chapters on effective practices in schools. He has written two books and he is currently completing his third book with Harvard Press. See the full biography.
